Krishna Bahadur Mahara, who was arrested for investigating the gold smuggling case, has been taken to the hospital. Due to his health condition, he was taken to Narvik Hospital in Thapathali after the Kathmandu District Court ordered that he be allowed to stay in the hospital for the entire period of detention.

 Narvik Hospital According to high sources, Mahara has been kept in the emergency ward of Narvik . Doctors are examining his health . "After the test, it will be decided whether to admit or not according to the report," the source said, "He is being treated in the emergency room after his health condition has weakened."

On Monday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of the police filed a court request for permission to detain Mahara . Mahara was remanded for 4 days after hearing in the court of Kathmandu District Court Judge Durga Prasad Khanal. 

Mahara was arrested by the police on Monday from Kapilvastu. He was arrested by Ruppandehi police while passing through Bhairawa airport to go to Rolpa from Kathmandu. He was taken to District Court Kathmandu by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police for extension.
