Foreign Minister NP Saud's visit to Finland has been postponed as Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is discussing the reorganization of the cabinet. Minister Saud was scheduled to go to Finland on Sunday night to participate in the 'Second UN LDC Future Forum'. The event will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Sources said that Minister Saud's visit was postponed due to problems in the ruling coalition regarding the issue of changing the members of the Council of Ministers.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Minister Saud will address the opening session of the Forum as the Chairman of the Global Coordination Bureau of the Least Developed Countries (LDC). "But the minister has now postponed his visit to Finland due to problems with the ruling coalition," the foreign source said.
Foreign Minister Saud said in the meeting of the International and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives that he is scheduled to go to Finland today. He said that even though the parliamentary committee called him in a short time, he had left the preparations for the foreign trip . He informed that he was going to Finland on a four-day visit.
Saud was also scheduled to participate in a ministerial dialogue on 'Strategies to Accelerate Innovation and Structural Transformation' in Finland. The forum is organized by the Office of the United Nations High Representative for Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States and the Government of Finland under the theme 'Innovation for Structural Transformation in LDCs'. Saud was also scheduled to meet the foreign minister of Finland .
