Ragini Upadhyay Art Academy Balkot has announced to give award to one journalist and scholarship to two students every year.

The meeting held on Saturday decided to establish a fund to encourage the development, research and promotion of art in Nepal by awarding one lakh rupees annually to one journalist for his contribution in the field and giving a scholarship of 50 thousand rupees each to two students.  The statement issued by the foundation stated that Ragini Upadhyay, Bhaskar Koirala and Srijan Rana have committed to support the

fund.

awards and scholarships will be awarded every year on November 9th, Professor Govindraj Pokharel, Secretary of the Foundation informed. Ragini Upadhyay, former chancellor of Nepal Fine Arts Institute, president, Swarnim Wagle, vice president, Prof. Pokharel is the secretary and Supriya Paudel is the treasurer.
