A total of 139 candidates have registered their candidacies from all 4 constituencies of Siraha. A total of 139 candidates have registered their candidacies from various parties and as independents.

According to Chief Election Officer Shri Prakash Upreti, 32 candidates have registered their candidacies in Siraha 1, 29 in Siraha 2, 41 in Siraha 3 and 37 in Siraha 4.

Out of these, the number of independent candidates is high. 85 candidates, including 18 in Siraha 1, 15 in Siraha 2, 29 in Siraha 3 and 23 in Siraha 4, have filed their candidacies.

There are 453,645 voters in all four constituencies of Siraha, including 241,614 men, 212,28 women and 2 others. For this, 223 polling stations and 531 polling stations have been designated across the district.
