The family of 27-year-old Vijay Chaudhary of Lahan Municipality-15 Simaltoki, who lost his life in Kathmandu during the Siraha Gen-G movement, will be supported. Lahan municipality has announced to support the family of the deceased Chaudhary.

Chaudhary was killed during a demonstration in Baneshwar, Kathmandu on August 23. Chowdhury, who was living in a camp with his wife and daughter, was doing house wiring work.
Lahan municipality was also attacked on August 24 during the Gen-G movement. According to the municipality, there was a loss of more than 7 crores due to vandalism, looting and arson in the municipality.
However, Mayor Chaudhary says that such an incident was brought down on the basis of political revenge in the name of Jen-G. He demanded to investigate it and bring those involved to the scope of action.
Mayor Choudhary informed that the municipality has partially started operations and is working to bring it into full operation from Sunday.
