Due to incessant rains, the customs area at the headquarters of Gaur has been flooded. Due to flooding, the government and public service sectors have come to a standstill and life has become difficult.

It is now difficult for the locals of the border area to cross. People are crossing the water at risk. Armed police are helping small children from drowning . 

Gaur customs area is now inundated . Those who come from Bargania in India and those who go from Nepal are crossing with difficulty. The local residents are going back and forth by riding carts.

Pedestrians are being crossed by the security personnel. Armed Police SP Bikram Hoonmagai said that due to flooding, people are uncomfortable to move in the customs area. "Though the flooding is decreasing, people are having problems moving around," he said, "As there is a risk in the water, the armed police are helping the children to cross the border." It has happened in the area. Due to the continuous rains, there has been a problem in traffic after the water has accumulated in Lachka near Sabgadha of Gaur-Chandranigahpur section .

Chief District Officer Hiralal Regmi has informed that there is difficulty in operating small vehicles in Lachka. In Lachka, some locals are taking money and making people and vehicles cross.
