After incessant rains, the flood in Wagmati River has started entering the villages in the lower coastal area of Sarlahi. The flood has started entering the village from above the embankment of the river.
Armed police are working to move the residents of Basbaria 1 and 2 Manpur to a safe place after the flood started to overflow from the dam and entered the village. The armed police is rescuing those trapped in the flood from the plant, Ganpati Armed Police Superintendent Vinodraj Khanal informed. The embankment is collapsing as the flood flows over it . This has increased the risk .
