One person died when the head of Mahottari was swept away by the river. 21-year-old Man Bahadur Thing of Jhyaure Bhangre, Bardiwas-10, who went missing from his house around 10 am on Saturday, was found dead on the bank of Khairmara river.
When the locals saw the man floating in the river, they informed the public representative and the police saying that something might happen.
During the search, the police and local residents found Thing's body in Sisau Ghari on the bank of the river at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evening.
President of Bardiwas-10 Pramod Moktan said that his body was found about 5 kilometers from Shirkhola to Khairmara river. According to him, the deceased Thing was in a slow state of mind. The police said that the incident is being further investigated.
