The Election Office has added 4 temporary polling stations in Rupandehi for the House of Representatives elections. Earlier, 732 polling stations were set up in 209 polling stations in Rupandehi, which has 5 constituencies. With the addition of 4 polling stations and 4 polling stations, 213 polling stations and 736 polling stations have been established. 

The Election Commission sent a letter to add 3 temporary centers for employees and security personnel who were not included in the election and 1 polling station in the district prison. Based on that, the District Election Office has decided to collect the temporary voter list and add 4 centers. There are 672,523 voters in 5 constituencies in Rupandehi. 3,902 temporary voters have been added to it. 

According to Kalpana Aryal, Election Officer of the District Election Office, the Armed Police Force 27 No. Temporary polling stations have been added at Pashupati Temple near Taradal Battalion in Ramnagar, Butwal Sub-metropolitan City-7, and Durga Temple near Sainik Battle School in Sainamaina Municipality-11, Saljhandi. Of the temporary polling stations added, 133 are in the District Jail, 1,642 in the Armed Police Force No. 27 Headquarters, 1,660 in Taradal Battalion Butwal, and 502 in Saljhandi Army Barracks. The Chief Election Officer of the Election Office, Aryal, said that the center was added by including those whose names are included in the voter list in the temporary voter list but who are deployed in the election or cannot go to the designated polling station for other reasons. 

The Election Commission has stated that 186,000 temporary voters have been registered for the 2082 election for the House of Representatives. There is a provision for temporary voters to vote at the designated polling stations under the proportional election system. Kul Bahadur GC, the Joint Spokesperson of the Election Commission, said that 143 polling stations have been identified for temporary voters across the country. 

4,404 employees have been mobilized in Rupandehi, which has 5 constituencies, for the election. Of these, 736 polling officers, 736 assistant polling officers, 2,196 assistant employees and 736 helpers have been deployed, said Krishna Prasad Poudel, Assistant Election Officer and Information Officer of the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer. ‘Most of the employees have started understanding the appointments from today, Wednesday,’ he said, ‘The appointment letters will be distributed on Thursday as well and then the employees will be deployed at the polling stations.’
