All the preparations for the by-election for the post of ward president of Shudhodhan rural municipality-1 to be held on Sunday have been completed. 30 employees and 6 volunteers have been deployed in the election. More than 200 security personnel have been mobilized.
Voting materials, ballot papers and ballot boxes have reached the polling station. Assistant Polling Officer Ammar Oli said that the staff completed all the preparations by building the polling station on Saturday. There are two centers A and B in Basic School Anratha.
Similarly Purna Keshar Mavi Bagdi and Bikuli Paschim Dih madrasas have A and B centers. In the election, there are 14 candidates from 10 parties and 4 independent candidates for ward president. There are a total of 4 thousand 868 voters. The by-election is about to be held after the death of Tilakram Yadav, the winning ward president from the Congress.
Pragya Bishwaprakash Aryal said that the security system has been tightened to vote confidently in the election. The movement of vehicles without permission from the office of the Chief Electoral Officer has been prohibited from Saturday 12:00 pm to Sunday 7:00 pm around the Shudhodhan-1 election venue and rural roads. There are 3 polling stations and 6 polling stations here.
