In Makalu and Bhaetkhaela Rural Municipality, telephone service has been interrupted for 2 days. Telephone service has been disrupted in Makalu and Bhatkhaela since Thursday due to incessant rains in Barkhe Danda.
Locals say that it is difficult to exchange information because there is no network during the disaster. Due to continuous rain in geographically remote Makalu and Bhatkhaela, the nearby telecom towers have stopped working after the sun did not shine. Along with Makalu, both electricity and communication services have been stopped in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality.
