5 people have lost their lives due to floods and landslides in Panchthar alone. According to District Police Office Panchthar, six people are missing and one person has been rescued so far.

Landslides have occurred in various places of Miklajung Rural Municipality and Fidim Municipality of the district. The police said that the exact details of the damage caused by the landslide are yet to be collected.
