2 people died in Solukhumbu's Tapting when a house was destroyed in a landslide that occurred in the afternoon. Ward Chairman Hom Bahadur Magar said that when the house of local Tek Bahadur Magar was destroyed by a landslide in Chailung village of Solududhakund Municipality Ward No. 10 Tapting, his daughter and daughter-in-law died.
Ward chairman Magar said that his 30-year-old daughter Kavita Magar and 41-year-old daughter-in-law Rupu Magar died in the landslide.
Chief DSP Dwarika Ghimire of District Police Office Solukhumbu informed that the police team is going to the scene. DSP Ghimire said that as soon as the police arrive at the scene of the incident, details of the damage will come.
