Nepali Communist Party candidate Dhan Bahadur Budha has won in Dolpa. Budha won by getting 6,802 votes in the election for the member of the House of Representatives.

He won by a margin of 1,406 votes over CPN-UML candidate Lanka Bahadur Rokaya.

Rokaya, who was contesting the election for the member of the House of Representatives for the first time, was defeated by getting 5,396 votes. Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Karna Bahadur Budha came third by getting 2,947 votes.

National Independent Party candidate Dev Singh Aidi got 181 votes, Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Hari Prasad Dangi got 92 votes, and independent candidate Omendra Bahadur KC got 54 votes.

Similarly, Progressive Democratic Party candidate Bikash Budha got 21 votes, Ujjaj Nepal Party candidate Dil Bahadur Bista got 11 votes, and Miteri Party Nepal candidate Junu Bhandari got 2 votes.

The winning candidate, Budha, has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Dolpa for the fourth time in a row. This time, he has won his fourth victory by defeating his brother Karna Bahadur Budha, who was also the candidate of the Nepali Congress in Dolpa. Although Dhan Bahadur Budha has won, the office of the Chief Electoral Officer has stated that a formal announcement is yet to be made.
