In Kalikot, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has maintained his lead. Mahendra has maintained his lead with 2,865 votes after the counting of the two village municipalities of Palanta and Pachal Jharana.

He is followed by Harsh Bahadur Bam of the Nepali Congress (NCP) with 2,089 votes, while Nagindra Shahi of the UML has slipped to third place with 1,895 votes.

Pachal Jharana is the local level home to Mahendra and Harsh. District Election Officer Bishwa Mangal Sharma said that the counting of the Raskot Municipality, home to UML candidate Nagindra and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) candidate Prakash, has begun. There are 9 local levels in Kalikot.
