The local administration has banned the operation of vehicles at night for three days on the Beni-Jomsom road connecting the tourist district Mustang with the national highway through the northern area of ​​Myagdi.

Chief District Officer Badri Prasad Tiwari informed that since heavy rain is predicted for four days from tonight to Monday, the operation of transport vehicles at night will be closed due to the risk of accidents and roadblocks and travelers will be stranded.

'Vehicles going to Mustang via Magdi will have to reach Mustang grass by 5 pm,' he said, 'Vehicles coming to Beni from Jomsom will have to reach Beni at 5 pm.' Prazia Tiwari said that the means of transport will operate regularly from October 21. As there is a possibility of snowfall in the high Himalayan region along with the flood, the administration has also requested through a public notice not to visit the tourist places such as Annapurna base camp, Ghodepani, Khopra, Mohredada, Dhorpatan. 

Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division has warned of medium to heavy rains in various parts of the country including Gandaki Province, alertness has been adopted in Myagdi.
