The fourteenth edition of 'Film South Asia', which is considered as the South Asian fair of short films and documentaries, is going to start from this Thursday at Yalmaya Center in Lalitpur.
According to the organizers, 47 documentaries will be screened during the four-day festival. Films and documentaries from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc. will be screened at the festival. Documentaries and short films screened at the
festival will compete for various awards. During the festival, there will also be discussions on documentary production and other topics, the organizers said. Similarly, the organizing organization said that there will be a special exhibition of the documentary film 'Devi' directed by journalist Suvina Shrestha, which has been shown at the international festival. There will also be a workshop on directing as part of the festival. In the workshop, the famous Indian director Kavir Khan will be the chief guest.
