Nepal Rastra Bank has said that foreign investors will facilitate repatriation of dividends, principal and interest. Governor Vishwanath Paudel gave this information while announcing the monetary policy for the next financial year.
monetary policy says, 'Foreign investors in Nepal, industries/companies established with foreign investment, and branches, contact offices or permanent establishments of foreign companies in Nepal will be facilitated in the system of repatriation of capital, interest and dividends.'
Rastra Bank will arrange foreign exchange risk management through commercial banks to attract foreign investment said . "Nepal Rastra Bank Foreign Investment and Foreign Loan Management Regulations, 2078" will be amended to improve the economic and business environment and facilitate investment promotion, it is mentioned in the monetary policy.
