Unnecessary public structures will be dismantled

Unnecessary public structures will be abolished by the government. Presenting the government's policy and program for the next financial year in the United House on Friday, President Ramchandra Paudel said that unnecessary public structures will be abolished, merged or restructured.

It is mentioned in the policy and program that investment will be focused on projects with high returns by increasing the efficiency of allocation of government expenditure.

'Current expenditure will be kept within the desired limits and public sector investment will be focused to promote and supplement private sector investment,' it is said in the policy and program, 'Structural transformation will be done in the tax system to increase industrialization, investment promotion and the competitiveness of the economy.'

Similarly, it is mentioned in the policy and program that tax administration reform and the use of information technology will develop a taxpayer-friendly revenue system.
