The government is going to make structural changes in the tax system. Presenting the government's policies and programs for the next financial year at the joint meeting of the Parliament on Friday, President Ramchandra Paudel said that the tax system will be structurally transformed.
An environment will be created to further improve and promote private investment. Unnecessary public structures will be abolished, merged or restructured," President Paudel said while presenting the policy and program for the next financial year 2082/83, "There will be structural transformation in the tax system. Taxpayer-friendly revenue system will be developed in order to industrialize, promote investment and expand the competitiveness of the economy.'
Foreign aid will be mobilized through the national system based on the needs and priorities of development, he said.
