The government has announced that it will start a pilot project to attract youth in agriculture. Announcing the policies and programs of the government, President Ramchandra Paudel said that a strong eco system of land, agricultural materials, insurance purchase agreement and market will be established to attract the youth in agriculture. "A pilot project will be started by involving those who want to venture into any type of agriculture," President Paudel said.

Similarly, he said that by ensuring the availability of land through Bhoomi Bank, the project will be mortgaged and other financial and other materials will be arranged. He also said that export-oriented agriculture will be modernized and mechanized and specialized to make it self-sufficient in agricultural produce.
