The government has said that the land related bill will be passed in the current session of the parliament. President Ramchandra Paudel on Friday presented the policy and program for the next financial year and said that the bill related to land will be passed.
Even though the government introduced Land Ordinance 2081, it could not be issued. After the ordinance was not issued, the government brought it to the parliament as a land-related bill.
The government has said that modern technology will be used in land surveying and data management. President Paudel has said that he will implement the land use plan to make proper use of the land.
Landless Dalits, slum dwellers and unorganized settlements will be managed according to the government. Paudel said that service delivery will be improved by upgrading the IT-based geo-information system.
