The government is going to restructure the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). President Ramchandra Paudel presented the policy and program for the next financial year 2082/83 in the Parliament on Friday and said that the efficiency and transparency of the capital market will be increased by restructuring NEPSE. He also said that the Nepal Securities Board will be strengthened.

Similarly, the government is going to make contribution-based social security fund mandatory.

Paudel said in the parliament, 'Contribution-based social security will be made mandatory. The role and scope of the fund will be expanded so that all those engaged in employment under any service condition of all natures will be compulsorily affiliated to the contribution-based social security fund. When renovating companies, institutions, cooperatives, firms and other organized organizations, a legal provision will be made to include workers in the social security fund and attach proof of regular contributions.

The government has announced that it will review teacher vacancies, and Poudel said that the government will also take up the policy of establishing a teacher bank. According to him, teachers bank will be established in collaboration with the university.

He said, 'Residential school will be opened in the geographical area. Teacher posts will be reviewed. To establish a teacher bank in collaboration with the university. The national standards of teachers will be implemented.

Poudel said that higher education will be made research-based, educational quality standards will be made and implemented at the local level, and university grants will be distributed based on students. — News Agency Nepal
