Lucky Chhetri, founding president of Three Sisters Adventure Trekking, said that if women are given opportunities, more women can work in the field of tourism and adventure trekking.

Speaking in the first session of the 'Gantavya Gandaki' program organized by Kantipur Media Group in Pokhara on Wednesday, he said that the number of women in this sector is low because the women do not get opportunities.

Although the potential of tourism in Nepal is abundant, she said that the state has not been able to get that benefit due to the lack of development and expansion of that area.

Tourism is the key to development. Everyone knows this. But why are we consuming to develop and expand this area . Couldn't you understand that?' She said, 'If the development of this area is expanded with priority, it will contribute to the overall economic development of Nepal.' However, even though it is being said that the reason for this is that Nepal is external to Nepali people, it is not true, she said. She claimed that they are also responsible for this.

'We are saying that it is not our fault that the mountains are damaged, but we are building big structures near the mountains,' she said. Let's meditate on it.'
