Tourism businessman Suman Ghimire has said that loans at low interest rates are necessary in the tourism sector.
Ghimire, who was the speaker of the fourth session of the 'Chitwan Chintan' program organized by Kantipur Media Group on 'Tourism's path, cycle of prosperity', demanded from the government that the interest rate of the banks has become expensive, so that the tourism sector needs loans at low interest rates.
'Businessmen have invested . We are concerned and determined how to make it better,'' he said, 'but despite this, what worries us as businessmen is that the interest rate of our bank is high . Loans at low interest rates are really needed in the tourism sector.'
His demand is that in the same way as in agriculture, businessmen in the tourism sector should be given subsidies and loans at subsidized interest rates.
