The government has set a target of achieving 6 percent economic growth in the coming financial year. This has been mentioned in the budget for the next financial year presented by Finance Minister Varshman Pun. He also expressed the belief that through the implementation of the presented budget, the future economic activities will be accelerated and sustainable, broad and inclusive economic growth will be achieved by increasing production and job creation.
Finance Minister Pun also expressed his expectation that the implementation of the revenue-related policies and programs proposed in the budget would expand the base and scope of revenue, establish an economic activity and investment-friendly tax system, and strengthen internal revenue mobilization.
Finance Minister Pun also claimed that the economic reform program will be implemented in the budget of the next financial year presented by the government.
