Finance Minister Barshman Pun presented the budget for the upcoming financial year 2081/82 at the meeting of both the houses of the Federal Parliament on Tuesday and said that the abolition of taxes will help in the protection of domestic production. Similarly, the excise duty rate on alcohol, beer, tobacco and cigarettes has been increased.
