Santosh Pariyar, the chief whip of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, has said that even though Nepal has many things to do, it has not been economically developed.
In the fourth session of the 'Economic Summit-024' organized by Kanitpur Media Group on Sunday, Chief Whip Pariyar said that despite being endowed with natural resources, it could not be converted into economic change.
'Nepal has many things But Even Nepali life has not been completed financially. There are very few countries with so many natural resources,' he said, 'the environment is even more wonderful. In spite of this, we have not been able to be as economically prosperous as we should be.
Even though we have succeeded in making political changes, political changes have not been connected with the lives of the people through economic development, said Chief Whip Pariyar. He said, 'Our politics or let's say political parties are not trying. I think, no matter how hard you try, it doesn't happen. If so why not ? Why didn't it happen? We have to find the answers to such questions.
Chief Whip Pariyar said that Nepal's economy is in a complicated phase in history and that the National Independent Party is ready to work together with everyone. He further said, 'The National Independent Party is ready to work together with everyone for that collective work and is in politics today. I think, today's Nepali economy is probably in the most complicated phase of history.
chief whip Pariyar also suggested the finance minister to make the estimate of income and expenditure of the upcoming budget realistic, reliable and able to convey a message of reform. He has also suggested to the Minister of Finance to radically improve the trend and structure of public finance. Another suggestion of Chief Whip Pariyar is, 'There should be a separate system of new thinking, departure, disorganization and transformative plans, not just gradual reform.'
