Qatari investors are positive to invest in Nepal. In a bilateral meeting with Nepali Ambassador to Qatar Naresh Vikram Dhakal and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qatar Financial Center (QFC) Yusuf Mohammad Al Zaida, Qatari investors have been positive to invest in Nepal.

Ambassador Dhakal requested the CEO of QFC to increase the number of Qatari investors in the third Nepal Investment Conference to be held in Kathmandu on April 28th and 29th.

Nepal has appropriate laws and environment to ensure the investment of foreign investors. There are areas that can be invested in hydropower, education, health, ICT, transport and rural development. The Government of Nepal has already identified the projects in this," Ambassador Dhakal said.

CEO of QFC Zaida said that this will be discussed with Qatar's big investors. We want to help in the development of Nepal. We will discuss this with our investors," he said. 

Nepal Business Association, Qatar is going to hold a program to discuss with Qatari investors. Qatari investors will be present in it, QFC said. Ambassador Dhakal said that the preparations for this have been advanced.
