The government has worked in the field of health education. Not so effective in medical education etc. We do not regulate, we could not strengthen the regulatory body. In the new medical act, it was said to give technicians for 50 beds, it was a college under CTEVT. Technical schools have failed when 100 beds were made compulsory. are closed.
Talking about MBBS, if you are educated globally, you can go anywhere. In order to prepare skilled manpower, support from the government in infrastructure is necessary. It is difficult to make something from government resources.
Let's monitor and regulate effectively, but let's not control the numbers. When that happens, skilled manpower will come. Now the number has been tightened. Some time ago, a demand for 10,000 nurses came from London. But this is where there is a shortage of nurses in some hospitals. We have to think about how to reconcile it.
If the government's resources can do it, then the government should do it, if not, encourage the private sector to prepare skilled manpower. The government's policy of strictness and control should be changed immediately. The government has changed many laws through ordinances. The private sector has also welcomed it. In this area too, the government should look at it from a broader perspective.
Not after 10 years, even now there is a shortage of skilled manpower. A common example - there is a shortage of technicians in cable cars. There is a shortage of technicians in other areas as well. That is why the government should involve the private sector in technical schools. We don't want to compromise on quality so that the government can't even invest. By tightening regulation, private sector investment is needed everywhere. Whether it is medical education or technical education - encouraging the private sector with conditions will make things much easier in the days to come. By saying this, it is necessary to change the impression we have made.
The private sector is understood as a profiteer. It is necessary to change that in general. If the private sector conducts any business, it is not only for him. It is for the society as a whole. The state also has to pay taxes and build infrastructure. Therefore, although there has been some change in the view of the private sector in recent times, it is necessary to encourage it.
It is said that the Medical Education Act has gone wrong. This is what we said. It should be modified.
