Yesterday's ancestors used to export food to foreign countries when they reached their home by doing agricultural work. What kind of culture, education and what direction are we going towards today? Today, billions of agricultural products have been imported. Our forefathers used to say "good farming, moderate business" and it has been proven today.

Even though 65 percent of farmers are involved in agriculture, this is the case. This is the situation even when more than 65 percent are involved in agriculture . In Israel, 3 percent of the farmers are self-sufficient and export abroad . We cultivate 65 percent, but we don't have enough to eat . It is important to recognize this.

Countries like us Bangladesh, Japan, Korea, Nepal were underdeveloped at one time. But today those countries are prosperous. Has taken the market all over the world. Why we haven't been able to do it, we have to find the answer.
I am very happy and impressed by coming to the agricultural profession. I was unemployed after my master's degree. Did a study looking for a job . Even though there is a lot of barren land in the country, truckloads of bananas are imported from abroad.

To prevent the importation of banana, its cultivation and other agriculture see the possibility . It can be done. Realizing that, I started in agriculture . Keeping my mind steady, I guided that I will succeed in any way . Accordingly, I was successful. The aim is to further grow this business .

Farmers at 3/4 rupees per piece  They sell bananas . It costs 10/11 rupees to reach consumers. There is a gap between farmers and consumers. On top of that, bananas from India come here, which also affects it. It spoils the market here . We ourselves are both consumers and producers. While selling at 3 rupees today, the same banana should be bought at 10/11 rupees tomorrow.

How to manage this kind of pit ? How can it be solved ? Next, there is the matter of packaging and quality. What happens to bananas here when bananas come to us from India and abroad without fail? It is important to understand what are the problems faced by the banana farmers here.

First comes the chemical and organic fertilizers . There is a problem with chemical fertilizers. Farmers have cultivated bananas in hundreds of bighas. Whether those farmers carry a bag to get 5/6 kg or do agricultural work, this is also a problem . It is important to assess how farmers have cultivated.

Low-level farmers have not been heard . There may be a policy problem, a law should be made, that is in its place . Speaking of insurance, have the low-level farmers received insurance money? Who will understand that? Farmers who depend on agriculture have no other option but farming. Those things have not been addressed.

Practiced making chips from bananas and taking them to the market. But he was not so successful. It is necessary to study whether it is due to quality and packaging problems or other reasons.

Banana production has become a superzone from Chitwan zone . Bananas should also go to other products and industrialization. We want to go too, but mainly there is a marketing problem .

(Edited part of the opinion of the outgoing president of Chitwan Banana Growers Association Ghannath Mahato in the second session of 'Chitwan Chintan')
