Police have been mobilized in Ramechhap to search for 16 missing members of the same family of Hayu community from Golanjor Rural Municipality-6 of Sindhuli.
The last location of their mobile phone was found at Paripatti Ramechhap in Golanjor. Police inspector Kaushal Neupane said that after the location was seen in Ramechhap before the mobile was stopped, the police intensified the search in Hayu settlement of Ramechhap. He said that a search is being conducted in the settlement where the Hayu community is suspected to have come towards Ramechhap.
Based on initial indications that they may have come towards Ramechhap, the police are being mobilized and searched under the leadership of a police inspector in Hayu Basti, which is located in Ward No. 7 and 8 of Ramechhap Municipality.
Last Thursday, the local body distributed the social allowance to the members of the endangered Hayu community. District Police Office Sindhuli said that after the Hayu family came to understand the allowance, they ate pork at home. It is assumed that there is no natural calamity in Golanjor area of Sindhuli and unconnected families are walking in groups.
Even though their mobile tower signal was seen in the tower of Ramechhap area, since that tower also covers Golanjor area, it is not possible to be sure about whether they have really come to Ramechhap or not, Ramechhap Police Inspector Neupane said .
