Due to incessant rain, a couple of former ward presidents of Lisankhupakhar Village-3 died in a landslide that came from their house. SP Santosh Khadka informed that 73-year-old former ward president Kazi Bahadur Tamang and his wife 70-year-old Suntali Tamang were buried in the landslide.

According to SP Khadka, the Tamang couple who were sleeping at home were buried by the landslide last night.

The police and the locals are now deployed for rescue after the locals reported.  'The bodies are being taken out and other procedures are being carried out, coordination is being done with the people's representatives, there is also a problem in the rescue due to landslides along the road,' he said.
