After three decades, after the collapse of the autocratic regime in Nepal, the capitalist countries were deeply looking at the issues of economic policy and investment environment.

The market for Nepali carpets and garments was also in America. Foreigners used to like carpets hand-woven by Nepali workers. She said that even though the achievement of democracy is an achievement, it has not become a suitable land for investment. He was of the view that the private sector cannot flourish due to miserliness and unnecessary government intervention. She announced that it will take another 20 years for Nepal to become a middle-income country.
