1. What is the last book you read?
Now I am reading two books in turn . The latest work is Basant Basnet's 'Simsara'. I am enjoying this book. Another very classical novel is George Arbel's 1984 . This is a book printed almost 8 decades ago.
In 'Simsara', the author tells the story of the internal psychology, conflict, and struggle of the family of Nepali society. I have enjoyed this novel because my mother's life struggle and the novel's mother's life struggle match.
The classical novel reinforces the language of politics, society, and literature. As I myself am currently writing a novel, I need to read classical novels to strengthen my own language.
2. Which is your favorite fix ? There are many
s. However, I like most of his novels like Visveshwar Prasad Koirala's novel Sumnima, Narendra Dai. And Indra Bahadur Rai's novel Aaj Ramita Cha, Peter J. I love many fixations like every place and every person in Karthak . Narayan Wagle's Pulpsa Cafe looks very good in the novel read some time ago.
3. What is your favorite nonfiction? There are many in
nonfiction as well. Dr. Hark Gurung's, Sardar Bhim Bahadur Pandey's history books are the books that have deeply influenced me . Lately, there are books written on serious topics.
4. Which book has been published recently but you haven't read it?
Chuden Kabimo's novel is also in discussion now. But I have yet to read this. Will read soon . The response from
readers is getting good . There has also been a good response from the critics . That's why I like to read. Chuden from Darjeeling is a Nepali speaker outside Nepal, a writer working in Nepali literature. There is a story written by him about the tea picking workers of Darjeeling. I also like his writing skills.
5. Which book would you recommend to the new generation?
book also happens when you read according to your interest . Read books written in a deep and serious manner. Read foreign books. Read Yuval Noah Harari's book. Read books about Nepal's history and sociology to understand Nepal. Don't miss the poems. Poetry makes you even stronger.
