Now, I work at a medical store while studying. It's a little easier here than elsewhere. My salary has increased from 7,000 to 15,000 per month. I work here from 10 am to 7 pm. I study the rest of the time.

Now the number of students enrolling for graduate studies is decreasing. I have seen my friends preparing to go abroad after passing the twelfth grade. However, there is no environment to study comfortably while staying in Nepal. On the one hand, there is the worry of studying and on the other hand, there is the worry of food and clothing. On top of that, if you have the responsibility of taking care of your family, the stress and anxiety increases even more.
I am also a student. I am studying at the third level of graduation at Mahendra Multiple Campus. Since I come from a simple family, I was forced to work from a young age. I used to worry that if I didn't work, I wouldn't be able to eat. I grew up in poverty. That's why I have been working extra hours since college to reduce the financial burden even a little.
I earn money while studying and helping with my family's expenses. My home is Barahakshetra. I am currently living in Dharan on rent. I am now 24 years old. Many of my friends who studied with me have gone abroad. They are earning well abroad. I am struggling to make ends meet.
Getting admitted to Tribhuvan University in Nepal is like a curse. Neither the exams are held on time, nor are the results released. It takes at least 5 years to complete the four-year course. Many students are going through mental stress due to the negligence of the university. I am also one of them. I decided to study in Nepal. Now I feel like I am not wasting my time. Many people preach that it is better to go abroad than not, that one day you have to go, but it is better to go on time. There is no shortage of people sharing such knowledge here. Because of this, sometimes my mind feels divided. I think – no matter how much I work in Nepal, it will be difficult to support my family in the end. Since everyone is studying at home, there is a problem with household expenses. That is why I am studying and working to meet my expenses.
My friends are earning well abroad. I am struggling to make ends meet here. I also worked in a hotel for some time. I had to work 13/14 hours a day in a hotel. I could not sit still for a moment. Even if I did not have work, I could not sit still. At first, my feet were numb. Even with all that work, I only earned 10,000 per month. That job, which started with 8,000, was later increased to 10,000. This was not my only pain, it was the same for everyone working there.
It is very difficult to build a future in our education system. It is even more difficult for a person from an ordinary family. Even if we die working for someone else, we students cannot earn 25/30 thousand per month, and the worry of how to manage our household expenses is added.
I am currently working in a medical store along with my studies. It is a little easier here than elsewhere. My salary has increased from 7,000 to 15,000 per month. I work here from 10 am to 7 pm. By working, I am helping with my education expenses and household expenses. But I haven't been able to save money.
I can spend 200 rupees a day on rent and lunch, and this salary is enough to cover household expenses, electricity, water, and vegetables. In Nepal, there is no money according to the work I do, and there is no guarantee that my future will be secured after studying. For one thing, it is difficult to find a job, and it is very difficult to get a salary according to the work I do.
