There is no regular job. Earlier, work was easy to find. But now, it is hard to find work. Sometimes, when you go looking for work, you have to return empty-handed.

There is no farm to earn a living from. The farm is also in name only. We have now bought a small farm. But even that is not enough to earn a living from. It is very difficult to meet daily expenses. If you do not work as a daily wage laborer, it is difficult to light a stove at home.
I am 32 years old now. I live with my family in Garatol, Chirtungdhara, Ghorbanda, Baganaskali Rural Municipality-1, Palpa. My maternal home is in Simaldanda nearby. I got married 15 years ago. I have two sons. The younger son is studying in UKG, while the older son has reached grade 8. My husband used to work as a driver. It has been two and a half years now, and he has returned from abroad.
I do not have a regular job. Earlier, work was easy to find. But now I have stopped getting work. If I go looking for work, sometimes I have to return empty-handed. On the other hand, even in rural areas, it is not always possible to find work to go to work. I have to work according to the season. Even if I go to work as a daily wage worker, it is difficult to make ends meet because the wages are cheap.
It is like our daily routine to get up in the morning and go to find work with rice in a tiffin. There is a settlement of the Kumal community in our neighborhood. Most of the women and men of the Kumal community go to the market in search of work. It is like our daily routine to get up in the morning and go to find work with rice in a tiffin. Recently, some of our children have started going abroad. That is why the number of people walking to work is also less.
There is no one who understands the pain of workers like us. Till 10 years ago, workers did not have much problem in finding work. The cost of living has increased day by day. Women are not paid the same wages as men. When we are made to work from 10 am to 5 pm, they pay only 400 rupees. I have earned my own money and built a stable. I have also brought a good-sized goat. Now one mother has a baby. Now others are also going to have babies. I am wondering if I can earn money by raising goats. Now I have planned to raise chickens too. I also raise ducks. The price of ducks and chickens is also good. If I can raise them, I can also get a good price for goats.
Everything is getting more expensive, so it has become difficult to make ends meet. Lately, I was in a monitoring group. But I have not been able to give time. Still, I would like to get involved in such social work with the sisters of the village, society, and village. But if I don't go to work, the stove won't light. The problem is that it has become expensive. I wonder why the government hasn't controlled the increase in prices.
