I am now 64 years old. My house is in Sinja Rural Municipality-2 of Jumla. I have been dealing in different seasonal products in Gulmi since last 15 years. Before this, I have traveled to more than 15 districts of Nepal in this way for business.
It's been 44 years since I started selling heavy goods . The burden of fulfilling the dream of children is not over yet. I consider it the duty of a good parent. Fulfilling the responsibility of the house is also my other responsibility . There was no talk of retreating after being tired. I will continue this profession till my old age . I have been selling Jumla's local produce apple, dal, paddy, pulses and radipakhi ingredients according to the time .
has also produced some of the content themselves. Selling that material is a bit more profitable. Some materials will be bought and brought, due to the expensive freight rates, the expenses will only rise . But Joomla's self-satisfaction comes from selling its own local product . I am so happy .
On average, items worth 2,000 to 3,000 rupees are sold during the day. 500 to 700 rupees will benefit from this . That's why household expenses are going well. In the kitchen, delicious food is cooked well. Ours is not such an ambitious family. We are satisfied with normal food and clothing. Now the son started earning for himself . Mrs. Dharmakanya Acharya and I do not need money separately for clothes. We are living as much as we can.
is a simple expenditure on food . Lentils, rice and vegetables are enough. We don't spend lavishly even on festivals . We don't worry because the festival has come. We are celebrating the festival with normal expenses . Mrs. Dharmakanya is also satisfied with my profession. She works around the house along with household chores. Although common, rice, lentils and pulses are produced at home .
This is how I made my son Hemant a mechanical engineer by selling materials. Now he has covered his own expenses . He is proud to have shown his son the right path. I have sweated and woven dreams to reach the goals of my children. It is also a duty of the agent. The dream of making his son study engineering has been fulfilled. The joy of making a son an engineer is different from selling Radipakhi. I gave up my dreams for the sake of my son. All my dreams have come true. It seems that no dream is unfulfilled if you work hard.
Another son, Dhirendra, is engaged in seasonal business like me. He also belongs to the last generation. It has earned a satisfactory income from this. I am happy about his actions due to his professional continuity and professionalism.
I now live in Resunga Municipality-2 of Gulmi . I came to Gulmi 15 years ago while traveling for business . Because of the cool weather here, I decided to stay here for a long time . Our weather in Jumla and the weather here in Tamghas are the same . Even though I live here, the climate is the same and the business will be good, so I have continued my stay here . As long as I have been doing business like this, I have decided to do it here at Gulmi Tamghas .
I go to Tamghas to sell apples in August, October and November. In November, November, January and February, I will sell Radipakhi in Tamghas. Later, along with making radipakhi from sheep's wool, I live in Jumla to produce rice, pulses, and fruits.
I reach the village of Gulmi for business . When I go to the village for sale, I find people who like Jumla's local goods . Joomla products are good value for money . I have the experience of walking for 8 days from Jumla to reach Nepalgunj in 2050 32 years ago. But now it takes 3 days by car from Jumla to Tamghas in Gulmi. Business feels more comfortable than before.
It takes hard work to become independent. Responsibility taught me to always work hard . Now the son is also happy to become self-sufficient. Even if you are young, you should continue what you are doing . It seems that one day there will be success. The work is not small . No matter where you go, you have to work and eat. Therefore, you should continue to do what you do as a responsibility, by doing this, you will be successful in your profession and succeed in life .
