At the moment, I buy raw corn and burn it and sell it. I buy 100 bushels of green corn at a time. It also takes two to three days to sell. Sometimes raw corn is also sold. This is how the livelihood has gone on.

Kathekhola Rural Municipality Ward No. 2 Bhimpokhara of Baglung is my birthplace. Now I am 54 years old. I have been living in Tansen for the past 28 years. I rent a room in Narayansthan of Tansen Municipality-2 and live alone.

I came to Tansen for the purpose of building a house . Before that, I had also done house building in Butwal. Before that I lived in Shillong, India . I have been working and living in Sillong for a few years with my husband. Later came home . I don't even know what disease my husband got because he drank too much. Her husband died when her two sons were young.

The responsibility of taking care of 5 and 3 year old son fell on my shoulders . After that I started doing wage labor. Later the eldest son went to Saudi Arabia . The younger one still lives near Sillong. Daughter-in-law, grandchildren live in Bhimpokhara. I have made a living by doing small jobs here . Sometimes I also go home . After the death of my husband, I was very sad . I worked as a house builder for almost 25 years.

I did house building work in Tansen and Butwal. I have worked in Lumbini Medical College for many years as a builder. The contractor had to work wherever he said. Wages were lower for women than for men. However, some work had to be done. I have also done a lot of work. It's been three-four years since I stopped walking to build a house. Earlier I used to burn maize in Tansen, Narayansthan. I left there and came to Lahere Peepal after the local residents hesitated. So far, the municipality has not said anything.

I have paid 1 thousand 500 camp rent . Those who have suffered in the past have now started getting sick . It's been two-three years of sugar and pressure. Medicines should be bought and taken. Insurance card not made . Medicines cost money . 10,000 to 12,000 is spent monthly on food, transportation, medicine etc. Earning is not much . Being alone, I don't like food like before. A bag of rice of 25 kg will last you about a month. Vegetables are expensive. Tansen Market was like a village when I first came here.  The

houses were also very old . Now many new houses have been built. I have built more than a hundred houses here. At that time the wages were also low . It wasn't expensive either. Even if you get 200 wages, it would seem like you got a lot. Now even if you earn 600 to 1000 daily, it's like a little . Because it is expensive. In the beginning, it was possible to live in Tansen for two to three hundred. Now I have to pay 1,500 even if I stay in a cheap room. If you want to live in an expensive, solid house, they say 4-5 thousand.

Since I live alone, I have been able to live in an old house cheaply. Even now, when I go home, I want to take something to my daughter-in-law and grandchildren. I like to put some money in my hands . Saving has not been done much. Earned all day, it's like eating.

It's getting old now, carr . I can't be sad. However, the day had to be cut . It didn't even sit like that. I don't like to go and stay at home . The government should control the cost . If not, poor people like us will get up . Earners buy and eat . It is becoming difficult for the sad poor to afford the household expenses . Let all the leaders and the government pay attention to this matter. Let the poor and sad people like us be given the opportunity to live.
