There is no one to understand the farmers' problems. Even the local government, which is said to be close, is not farmer-friendly. Farming has been the basis of our family's livelihood since our ancestors. Although we are in Adhiyan (Bataiya), we have been making a living by farming.

Now even nature seems to be anti-farmer . July has come, there is no rain . There has never been a tougher time for sky water farming. Everywhere is dry now . Since there is no water in the rivers and canals, from where to get it! 

There is a house in Rajviraj Municipality-1 Padaria Tol. Now I am about to pass 58 years. Farmers did not have such problems before. It was raining at the time . There was no shortage of manure. It was easy to find workers. Even if we didn't get it, we used to help each other and do farming happily. I made my son an engineer by farming. Now farmers are not as lacking as others. Farming is becoming difficult in agricultural countries. 

Till today all my land is barren . Most of the land of the villagers is barren. Due to the lack of irrigation, the seeds also started to dry . I am trying to save the seeds that are about to get old by pulling a little water left in the other canal with a pumping set. However, it is not decided when to plant rice. I don't see any way except to wait for the rain from the sky . If rain comes from the sky immediately, planting can be done and the production will also be done properly . However, even now, if the rains are delayed, the cost will be more than the production . The first thing is to plant the seeds that are sown in 20 to 25 days. Even though it has been 32/34 days now, it has not been possible to plant . 

has its own half a bigha of agricultural land . I have taken an additional one and a half bigha land in Bataiya. To the land owner who has received the paddy, 40 manas per bigha (one maund of 40 kg) must be paid for the paddy paddy. If the paddy could not be planted or if it is not produced even after planting, how will you pay the tax? This concern has been bothering me ever since. If the

cannot be cultivated, I will try to negotiate with him (landlord). Probably agree. . If you don't accept it, more problems will be added . There are 14 members in the family . Therefore, rice should be produced to reach throughout the year. Not that it has not been produced in the past . However, this year, rain did not come from the sky on time. There is a lack of irrigation. On top of that, I am suffering from an extreme shortage of fertilizer. 

You have to buy fertilizer by paying a very high price from those who are selling it in the black market . Go to India and bring it. While farming in this way, the cost of fertilizer, irrigation and labor is up to 3000 per plot. If we calculate according to the production, it takes about two maunds of paddy investment per lot .

Last year, 4 to 5 manas of paddy was produced per batch. However, last year we had planted all the fields. This year, if we can sow the field within 5/7 days, 3/4 per quintal can be produced . However, if planting is not done on time or if rain does not come from the sky even after planting, the investment is almost certain to sink . However, there is a thought to plant by trusting God. 

The municipality has not provided any assistance to farmers like us. Fertilizer was not given this year. After hearing the singing saying that fertilizer is being distributed, it is finished. I also saw that 10/10 kg of fertilizer was given to some. What will the one who gained 10 kilos do? Well, how do they distribute it, I couldn't understand .

From the local government to the distribution, everyone continues to act and behave as if they are ignorant even though they understand the farmers' problems. While, they are also the children of farmers . We thought that they would be a support in happiness . But, it is not. They have not brought a single program to facilitate the farmers. Our country is agricultural, Madhesh is more fertile. However, our local government could neither understand that, nor the farmers' problems.

Some local governments have also helped farmers by paying the bill for agricultural meters. I am happy to hear that free electricity has been delivered to farms by installing master meters towards Hanumannagar. However, they have not been able to make us realize the benefits for the farmers. It seems as if it will be bad due to drought . Because, even in the village, tubebel started to dry . This year it seems that it will be very difficult for farmers like me to make daily living.
