”I am proud to learn skills and do business in the country”

I learned to cut hair in Mumbai, India when I thought that I should learn skills and start my own business instead of a job. After leaving this job, I ran a salon in Mumbai for more than 7 years. After Mumbai, I spent 10 years in Jaipur, Rajasthan. After spending a long time in the cities of India, my mind changed. I returned to my native Gulmi in 2069 thinking that I should do something in my country.

After coming to my own place, I migrated to Resunga Municipality-2. And advance the business according to the skill in the campus road of the headquarters . I started working on 'Jane's' and 'Ladies' beauty parlors by operating Monika Beauty Parlor and Hair Cutting . Mrs. Monica for the ladies and myself for the Janes . When starting the

business, the shutter rent was 5 thousand rupees . At that time, there were very few Nepalis doing this business. We started not only business but also training . And since Monica and I have been training, learning these skills has gradually increased . Now our shutter rent has reached 18 thousand rupees per month . Expenses are also increasing along with income. Two people do good business .

Income is not that much, we have also provided employment. 5 people are employed by our business . The number of customers is not a big thing, customer satisfaction is a big thing . According to the response of the customer, I am satisfied. I feel happy about this.

I was born in the year 2033 in Resunga Municipality-3 Vadagaon. I left in the middle of studying and went to India for employment. My main youth was spent in India. I spent a lot of time working. Happiness is felt when you make the right decision at the right time and come to your own place and do business.

A son is studying . A daughter is learning skills and helping in the business . I consider this to be a great asset. Household expenses are better than income. You don't have to think so much to eat delicious food and celebrate the festival. We are happy about this. No matter how much you earn outside the country, you will not be satisfied . In the country, even if you earn a little, you will be satisfied. It is a pleasure to serve from my own place .

Daily beauty parlor and hair cutting have an average turnover of 4,000 . Which has 2 thousand benefits . This is the income other than employment. That's why the house expenses have been going on . The kitchen doesn't cost that much . Usual dal, rice and vegetables are our favorite food . Household expenses, festivals and child rearing run from the income . We are satisfied with this.

skill is the main thing. There is nothing better than being able to do something in the country by learning skills along with studies. Even if you have to go abroad, you should only go after learning skills. Some of the people we have trained have started their own businesses . Some have gone abroad for this work. This is our income. But after earning abroad, you have to return to the country . And something must be done in the country. Only then the love and duty towards the country will be fulfilled . The heart also has the satisfaction of joy .

Now I am the president of Nai Sangh Gulmi . We think that we should train new youth and attract them to this business . Staying in business is possible with Monica . Both of us are happy that the household is running well.

All day we are together in business . Even after that, the routine is going on at home and in the same place. We are engaged in business from early in the morning till late in the evening. Life is a struggle. Struggle is making household expenses and routine easier. Along with

business, we are growing 40/50 orange plants at home . It will also earn later . We have also planted kibby plants. We believe that even a small amount of agricultural work will ease our household expenses .
