He was supported by his parents by farming in the village. That tradition did not continue even to our generation. There was a wave of people going abroad to earn more than to spend their days mining. Young people from the village started running to the city with their passports in their hands saying that they would go abroad. The passport became more important than the certificate of completion of studies.

I was among those who went abroad with a dream. I applied to go to Malaysia after my brothers and sisters gave me the money. At that time, it seemed as if life would change as soon as you set foot on a foreign land . But, abroad is not what you think. I was 22 years old when I went to Malaysia . Although I did not work hard, I felt cold when I saw the Nepali brothers hanging on ropes on the 10th/15th floor in the summer of Malaysia. Because my work is welding, it was easy for others to see . 35,000 by overtime per month. 

When I was working in Malaysia, I used to get very angry when I saw the Nepalese being harassed. Even though there were big houses and developed cities, the hearts of the people there were not as single as those of Nepalese people. I was saddened when I did not pay the money after all the trouble and hard work.

Earning was not much, so he could not send expenses home. Therefore, instead of facing such a shortage, I came back to Nepal with the idea of ​​doing something by myself. After spending three years in Malaysia, he had to return home empty-handed. I spent some time in the country confused about what to do. I didn't have money to start a big business, I was in doubt whether to run a small shop or not. 

I bought a new auto rickshaw in 2074 with the money I saved. It has been 8 years since he started driving an auto rickshaw while sitting in Dharan. Its earnings are running household expenses . Not able to save much . After the corona epidemic, inflation and recession affected drivers like us . Due to the increased number of auto rickshaws in Dharan, there is also competition. As a result, the previous earnings decreased . The income from this has been used to pay the bills for food and living, electricity and water. You can eat as much as you want. 

Life began to pass saying that one day it will be better. I am about to turn 34 now. The hard-earned money is only enough to feed the stomach . Sometimes it is 1000 and sometimes it is not even 500 . Friends and relatives say they earn tons. I hear that he is alone, he doesn't have to take care of anyone, he has saved a lot. But the money is earned now, it will be spent soon .

No matter how hard you work, you earn 20,000 per month. Daughter-in-law, mother-in-law come . The festival had to be celebrated. Sometimes you get sick . That also costs money . Petrol should be filled in the car every day . Maintenance costs are the same . 

I was born in Saghurigarhi of Dhankuta. I am the youngest brother of 4 sisters and 3 brothers in the family . Studied till class 10 in the village. There was no campus in the village for higher education studies. So I had to come down to the city of Dharan to study in the campus. A few months after the 10th class exams, the mother died. Within a month after mother's death, father also fell . Being a middle class family, we didn't have much wealth and ancestral property . All the burdens of the house came on the shoulders of the brothers.
