The father's profession is sewing other people's shoes. I learned this profession by following my father in my childhood. He had to leave school at the age of 14 after studying up to 10th standard. After that, I could not study because the financial condition of the family was poor. Now, in addition to being an employee of the Sankhuwasabha Industry and Commerce Association, I sew old shoes and slippers in my spare time and run the household.

I am now 35 years old.  My house is Khandbari Municipality-8, Ratmate. My only desire and wish is to send my daughters to a good school in a big place, but it is not so easy for me to carry that dream when the monthly income and expenses are equal.

Now I am an employee of Sankhuwasabha Industry and Commerce Association. However, I sit in the Saturday market with my shoes on. Twice a week there is a hot in the fields. Since Saturday is an office holiday, I sew old shoes once a week. 1500 is earned from that. 

I worked as an office assistant for a few years . Now the association has been upgraded . I have started working as an office assistant. 6 years ago I was promoted from office assistant to assistant. However, the monthly salary is 15,000. It has never been easy to support a family of five on this amount . Adding the money on both sides makes 21 thousand chanchun. 

My elder daughter Junu is currently studying in class 10 in a government school. Earlier, Barun used to study in a boarding school. But as he could not pay the fees, he had to be transferred to a government school . Relatives and children of wealth get scholarships and facilities than the children of the poor . I taught my daughter in a private school till class 8. The youngest daughter, Kopila, is studying in fifth grade along with Junu in Adarsh ​​Vidya Mandir Pathak Village. Since he can't read, he wants to teach the subject his daughter told him. I have walked with the dream of making them big people. 

I think that I will not compromise on my daughter's education . There is pain in not being able to study, and the desire for their daughters to study is strong . Now there is a big hope that Junu will bring good results in SEE next year. 

When I was a child, my dream of being able to study was dashed, due to lack of finances, I could not even study for higher education . He had to drop out of school because he couldn't afford the admission fees. But I am working hard day and night for my daughter . I have saved some money to educate my daughters. If they could invest in the education of their daughters, their future would be bright . 

The wife has a back problem . 3 lakhs were spent during the treatment. The money that was saved little by little ended up in the treatment. Had to stay in Kathmandu hospital for one and a half months for treatment. 

I looked for a loan all over the village and got treatment, I am paying my relative's money in installments little by little. My wife has also left, so I have more problems. Wife cooks. Sometimes she also works as a farmer. However, due to back pain, that is not possible now. When she can work, she earns 500 by working all day . There is a great desire to do business, but no capital . The salary from the job in the month and the job of tinkering with the shoes of the haat on Saturday have been enough to eat breakfast and dinner. If we can't save some money, the whole family will be in trouble when we are sick. 

farm is nothing . Everything must be bought and eaten. Although she is doing housework, the wife has planted vegetables . 15,000 is not enough to eat for the whole month . The price has increased, if you buy a kilo of rice, one hundred rupees cannot be reduced . One liter of soybean oil should be paid up to 200. A kilo of salt costs 25 rupees. I have my own mud house . All the families live in the same mud house. That house built by my own hands has now become my trust . Daughter and wife cannot be bought new clothes except Dasaantihar. Even my daughters don't complain about my condition.
