Janjyoti Chowk in Mahendranagar is usually busy. As it is located on the east-west highway, there is more traffic from vehicles to pedestrians. My routine is spent in this square from morning to evening. Whether it's winter or rainy, I always spend time at this square. All day long I am busy making food like chowmeen, masham, fried rice and chaat.

It has been just three years since he started doing business in this way by placing a stall at Janjyoti Chowk in Mahendranagar . If it goes well in a day, one and a half thousand will be earned . Sometimes not even five/seven hundred . I am in the square from morning to evening. Mrs. Ramti is helping me . From this, the house rent, ration and son's education have been spent. 

My house is in Mahakali Municipality-3 Khalanga of Darchula . Parents and siblings are all at home. After working in Delhi, India for 10/12 years, I came here to do something in my own country. Since it is difficult alone, we came with family and stayed in Bhasi in Mahendranagar. Since I am working in a hotel in Delhi too, I have started making different kinds of food here as well. 

In the beginning, one and a half lakh was spent from purchasing the baskets to managing the dishes. Even when renting a room, the cost of its management was incurred. Rations and vegetables should be bought and eaten.

Son's school fees and copy-books cost 5/7 thousand a month. Then we pay 3,500 room rent . 10/12 thousand is spent on ration and green vegetables in a month . If I can't earn 20/25 thousand per month, I will go to loss . For that, both of us are working from morning to evening. 

I am 36 years old. I entered India in search of work at the age of 20. Got a job in a hotel in Delhi. But no matter how hard I worked, I was not able to bring food, so I left and returned home . After that, I took the advice of my family. 

Although he has been doing business in Thela for three years, he has not been able to save yet. It has been fixed at the expense of the family. Sometimes it is not even possible to meet the expenses of the family. But I am working hard in the hope that the business will be good. I also think that one day it will not happen. So I am confused here .

I think it is better to go to India and work for others for 2/4 thousand, even if it is a small one, and work in your own country. There is also a plan to manage this if we can increase the investment a little. I hope that something can be done from this . Although there is not much benefit in the beginning, there is hope that something will happen in the future . Apart from this, there is no way or skill to do anything else.

Parents and siblings live in the mountains . There is also a small amount of farming. However, it is not enough to eat properly. I came down to Tarai because it was difficult to manage the household expenses and to educate the children. Now the son is studying in 6th standard . He also needs expenses to teach him. So far, I have been using Zenten. I am energized by the belief that the same will happen tomorrow.
