6/7 years ago, I went to the brick industry in Kathmandu to work with my village sisters, the only purpose of reaching there was to earn money.
Everyone knows me as Juntara. I was born in Kharbun village of Dhabang. I am now 20 years old. Electricity has not reached our village yet. You can reach the house by walking for two hours from Libang. Now the road is built. A jeep runs from Libang to our village. You can reach my house by riding a jeep through Libang-Dhabang-Gapa.
About 6/7 years ago, I went to a brick factory in Kathmandu with my sisters from the village. The sole purpose of getting there was to make money . Since we went with the sisters of the village, we stayed together and did work together . There we worked all day carrying bricks and lived in jhyauli (a small hut made like a room by connecting bricks) at night.
We stayed there for about 6 months . When I came back, I bought clothes for my mother and brothers with the money I earned. Although I was 13 years old at that time, I earned money by working very hard. After not being able to study, I went to work in the brick industry . I earned about 32 thousand money there .
In this way, one day, his team came along with Vidya Chapagai, the director of the story program to see the brick industry . They caught us carrying the bricks, sitting on the porch and all the activities on camera . It has also been broadcast on TV. After some time we were informed by those who watched that TV show . On the bus to Libang and in the Libang market, there was a discussion about that issue . Everyone knew us because we were on
TV . I wanted to do the same after listening to the program on Radio Rolpa, which was opened for the first time in Rolpa. Vidya Chapagains came after getting the information that we were talking loudly on the radio while we were carrying bricks. We learned to speak well with the village sister after listening to the phone-in program on the radio.
14 years after returning home got married . My daughter was born when I was 16. Now the husband has gone abroad. I have raised goats by cutting grass in the village. Days pass while working with the little daughter . There is a small house, it also leaks when it rains. Parents' house is also nearby. I have been living under their guise. During the conflict, the father went underground. That's why I couldn't study because I didn't have income at home . Even the brothers could not read . Ba's name was Chatyang when he was underground. Ba's special name is Durgalal Vick.
Vidya Chapagai of 'Herne Katha' met again 4/5 months ago . They reached home looking for me. We both cried a lot after meeting unexpectedly. He also has a little daughter like me. He cried seeing my daughter . I cried because I met again and came to understand my story . They again recorded my story and narrated it.
My story has spread all over YouTube and social media. After seeing the story about my pain and situation, two people living in America sent me money to buy a goat. I wrote in the story 'My goats are small . Vikas wants to buy a goat but has no money' I said.
After hearing that, Vinita Puri, who is from Lalitpur in Nepal, and Dr. who is from Nuwakot and lives in America. Bhim Upreti Dai together sent the money to buy a goat . With that money, I bought three Boer goats and took them home.
I met the head of animal service hospital and expert center in Libang. With the help of Shankar Neupane, learned medicine for goats, poustic grass and knowledge . Now there is a plan to increase income by rearing these Boer goats . I could not read. I am thinking of becoming a good and successful farmer by rearing goats and giving my daughter a good education.
