When I was young, I used to love bees to hold and care for. Before marriage, when I went to the forest to collect grass and firewood, if I found it, I used to bring it and keep it in the barn. After getting married in 2049, three grandparents were born. Her husband died prematurely in 2060. And my sad days began.

In Kalimati rural municipality-3 Rajigaon, there was no land for farming except housing. I struggled a lot when there was nothing to feed the children. I reared two-four goats and ate half my stomach and raised my children. I was thinking that I had to do something now that I had trouble managing the expenses of raising goats .

In the year 2074, when I went to graze goats and cut grass in the forest near my house, I saw a wild bee on the trunk of a tree that I had cut. I remembered my childhood. At night, I put it in a basket and brought it home and started rearing it. Now that one hive of bees has made me an entrepreneur .

My beekeeping business that started with a hive has now spread widely . As the interest increased, so did the number. Agricultural Development Office Salyan and the municipality have supported some beehives . In the beginning, I gave time to increase it as much as possible. Now I have 135 hives scattered around the house. 

Son-daughter-in-law do housework . My job is to take care of the bees from the morning till the evening. I put them in a new hive because they take care of bees, collect honey, and run away when the hive grows. This is my routine . 

About three quintals of honey were produced this year . I sold only 150 . I sold them at the rate of 7 thousand rupees each. 10 lakh 50 thousand was earned from that . Selling 3 quintals of honey at the rate of 1000 rupees per kg earned 3 lakhs. All in all, I earned 13 lakh 50 thousand rupees in one year . I paid 500,000 from that to the industry. Other household expenses, bee management, child rearing, education, medical treatment were spent. I have saved about 5 lakhs by cutting all the expenses . Every year, I have added one ghadir to the amount earned by keeping bees. I opened a hotel and raised a family of five easily. 

After getting married in the year 2049, the husband used to work. The amount earned from it was used to support Janet . After the untimely death of my husband, I could not eat the clothes of my choice and the food I wanted during the festival because there was no one to earn. With the money I earned from selling goats to my three children, I had to buy all the things I needed at home. I never got to wear nice clothes. I was forced to suppress all kinds of desires in my heart. 

How was the situation, if someone got sick in the house, they had to take a loan from the moneylender for treatment. After starting beekeeping, now I don't have to depend on anyone. I can easily buy and use what I need. I didn't read it, my interest since childhood, watching my parents do it when I was with my relatives and friends, and the technical support given by the related agencies from time to time have made me proficient in beekeeping.
