I clean in the morning and make bamboo materials in the afternoon. This is how life is being lived. I have been doing this since childhood. For the last 6/7 years, I have been making bamboo materials at home and going to offices for cleaning. I am now 32 years old. My house is in Sabala Municipality-7 Matahi Tol of Dhanusha.

Now, in addition to making bamboo materials, I do cleaning work at Citizens Bank, Janaki Finance and Electricity office in Sabla Bazar, Dhanusha. Janaki Finance gives Rs 3,000, Electricity Office Rs 4,000 and Citizens Bank Rs 5,000 monthly. 

I wake up early in the morning and go to clean the offices . I will come home and cook and eat . Then I will rest for a while . In the afternoon I make bamboo materials . While I prepare the kitchen, my husband prepares the bamboo choya and keeps it. Both of us work together in the afternoon. We make market day without rest . And we take it to the market (Hatia) and sell it. 

We buy a bamboo for fifty hundred and bring it . We make fans and dhakia from it and sell them in the market. Hand fans are sold for Rs 100 and Dhakiya Rs 300 to Rs 500. We mainly make and sell these two products. However, according to the season and when the order comes, we also make others . We also make materials required for festivals. One bamboo makes material worth three thousand rupees . Bamboo materials worth 10/12 thousand are sold in a month.

We have a family of 10 including four children . 10,000 medicines are spent in a year . No one has a major chronic illness. Sometimes the common cold and fever will occur . However, four months ago, my son met with a motorcycle accident. It cost a lot at that time . Son's legs have stopped working. Even though five lakhs in Janakpur, one lakh in Kathmandu and 50,000 in Delhi were spent on his treatment, he did not recover. Son has not been able to walk . 

We spend a lot on clothes and food. One lakh worth of clothes should be bought in a year . Apart from festivals, you have to buy clothes worth 6/7 thousand every month . We all like to eat fish and meat. There is also an expense in that . Being a big family, it is not enough to bring a little. Children are more stubborn to eat meat . Fish and meat must be brought on the day of the market. 100,000 per year is also spent on food . In food, I also like meat and rice the most. 

I was the happiest wedding day in my life and the saddest day as well . I was happy that I got someone's support in my life, that I found someone who would support me in happiness and sorrow. But, why was it sad that the one who gave life had to leave his house. Had to go to a stranger's house . I risked my life and got married. Thank goodness I got the husband I expected. 

When the elders of the society say that the behavior of the person is sometimes very boring. Many people don't mean untouchability when taking my household goods . While cleaning his house-office, touch touch  does not happen . However, in the market, in worship, in the temple, they behave casually . How come I am not untouchable for cleaning the garbage they did but for other work ? It feels very bad to behave like this. Heartache . There is no stopping them in my house . Everyone can go to the room . But, we don't take a step forward from their main gate . This behavior is always burning . But, we can't do anything . For years, we have been enduring this kind of care . Now it has become a habit.
