I was born in Tansen, the capital of Palpa, and grew up in the beautiful Serofero there. I studied till class 8 in Janata Mavi. At that time, there was no time to be very fond of studies. That's why I spent my childhood in Ram-Ramailo.

Sharda from neighboring district Gulmi got married to Nepali . The wife's father had a shoe shop in Tamghas, Gulmi headquarters. After my father-in-law left, I came to Tamghas to take care of the shoe shop .

Before coming here, I was recruited in the Nepali Army. I lasted only one month in the army . Business seemed better than job. I left my job and came here. Now I am 57 years old . In the year 2049, when I started shoe business in Bhimchowk, Tamghas, I used to pay 4500 per month for the rent of the shop. At that time, I used to polish shoes, put new soles and sew shoes . I continued the same work . After 4 years, the rent of the shop reached 800 . I remember paying 4,500 rent after gradually increasing. 

Tansen-Tamghas bus used to run when I came here. But at the same time, I could not board the bus . So he used to walk at 5 in the morning and reach home at 7 in the evening . Earlier there was a lot of activity in Tamghas. Sharada and I used to work together in the shop . Business was also good. Although the income is good, due to the habit of saving, the cost of sending the son abroad has reached.

Now the daughter is studying staff nurse . When there was a rush in Kapus, if more than 50 pairs of shoes were sold in one season, the income would be 30/35 thousand. Now the income has decreased . You should be happy even if you earn 500 rupees daily on an average. 

When starting the shop 30 years ago, more than 1,000 profit was saved daily. 1000 was very important at that time . Now a thousand/five hundred doesn't bring anything . If the situation was like it is now, it was not possible to educate children at that time . Now the evening-morning has come for household expenses . The shoe shop has used ordinary pulses, rice and vegetables.

Now I have finished making new shoes. Not for sale . Now I spend my days repairing old shoes. Now I have shifted from Bhimchok to another shutter . I pay monthly rent of 5000 . 500 a day is saved by cutting the expenses of the shop . Therefore, household expenses will be spent.

I started by seeing the hustle and bustle of Tamghas and doing business. It's deserted now . The day has only been cut . There is no other way . If you don't save when you earn, you will be able to run today . By saving the money earned in the rich time, it has reached now.

saving is not that big of a sum . But it was enough to teach children. I am satisfied with that. If the initial income is enough, then it is possible to educate the children. This is what I mean . It's not a lot of money to save now!
