I have been in Nepal for 23 years, even though I am from Rajasthan, India. My name is Bablu Harijang in birth certificate, Aadhaar card, border card, passport. But everyone knows me as Bablu Rajasthani.

I am now 39 years old . I earn household expenses by sewing and polishing shoes . My father also did the same thing . First, I used to make a living by sewing shoes at the Buddhist temple in Kathmandu . It has been 10/11 years since I came to Pokhara. Even though I live on rent in Prithvichowk in Pokhara, I keep going to Chipledhunga, Mahendrapul while working. Mostly at the lakeside. 

It takes three days from Pokhara to reach my home. I am responsible for raising father, wife and 6 children. Even if the brothers are rich, they don't look at their father . I am happy with what God has given me. I think that a person's heart should be clean. When the mind is clean, everyone gets love . Money is earned, spent.

Even if he earns 10 to 15 thousand Indian rupees a month by sewing shoes, he spends on food and medicine . There is no savings, equals . I pay 4 thousand room rent per month . At Lakeside, you can get a meal for 125 rupees. I will go there and eat in the morning . In the evening, I go to a restaurant near the house and pay 150 rupees for 4 pieces of roti and vegetables. It costs 60 rupees for a car to go from the place of work to the room. 

I have problems with back and toothache . Wife's head hurts . A daughter has a weak eye . Therefore, money can be spent on drug treatment. When the family is sick, it becomes a problem to find money . This worry is eating me up . There is no business on rainy days. I get excited when there is good business . A week ago I earned 2000 rupees in one day . I sewed 2/3 of the shoes of the tourists who came back after trekking, polished them, and after sewing bags, I got that much money . Other days earn 800 to 1000 rupees. 

In India, the government gives 40 kg of wheat free per month . So it is enough for 8 people in the house. The money earned is sufficient for food and medicine. When there are no expenses, friends help the family . I am very happy after sending my children to school. I feel very sad after not going to school . My life has gone to poverty. I always pray - 'God! I have seen the suffering, don't let the children see such suffering.' She is studying science. Other children don't study . The elder daughter says that I will teach my siblings after I study and become my future. Hey, when will the future change . I met a Spanish tourist here 10 years ago. I told him my grief . Then he sends money every year for my eldest daughter . That money does not come to my account, the money is sent directly to the school once a year.
