He had to take refuge in his brother-in-law's house as he did not have a place to go
We are living in Birganj Metropolitan Municipality-17, Alon. He had to take refuge in his brother-in-law Premlal Sah's house as he did not have a place to go. So we are not homeless.
6 years ago, he incurred a loan of Rs. However, the grandson could not be saved. On the one hand, the grief of losing a grandson and on the other hand, the burden of debt added stress one after the other.
Her husband Hareram, who was suffering from this worry, was paralyzed two years ago. After he got sick, we did everything we could to treat him so that he did not have time to fight. 8 lakh rupees loan was added while treating the husband.
One after another, the house was upset. At the same time, when the eldest daughter Sunita got married, she had to carry an additional debt of 1.3 million rupees. All the debts have gone up to 33 lakhs . Why did the lender remain silent? After exceeding the limit, they started running home to demand the money back . And we have no choice but to sell the concrete house built on 6 dhur land 6 months ago to repay the loan.
After selling the house and reaching the street, we have taken shelter in the house of 6 brothers-in-law including the couple, elder son Vikas, daughter-in-law and 5-year-old grandson Adit, younger daughter Pooja. There is still a debt burden of 5 lakh rupees. To repay the same loan, now I also work as a house builder along with my husband . My husband earns 800 rupees a day as a mason and I earn 500 rupees a day as a laborer.
Son Vikas is raising his children with the money he earns from driving a car . Even the son has not been able to help to save a little and run the household expenses . For a family, 3 bags of rice (75 kg) per month costs 4,500 rupees . 5 kg of pulses, 4 liters of oil, vegetables, marmalade, etc. will cost 10/12 thousand rupees per month.
One kilo of chicken meat is eaten once a week even if it is Saturday. It costs Rs 1200 per month to buy the same meat. There is no account book for the expenses of clothes, soap, paste etc. . As the husband suffers from high blood pressure, he has to take regular medicine.
I don't even know the letter because I haven't seen the face of the school . Bara's Nautan Bahuari is my wife . I am the eldest among seven sisters and one younger brother. As soon as my sister and Mahili got married, my father passed away . After that, my husband and I married the rest of my sister and brother . After passing class 12, Pooja, the 20-year-old youngest daughter, earns 4,000 per month for teaching at the boarding school in the village, but she does not save money.
Now she is worried day and night about how to marry her daughter . My heart was as light as taking a bath in the Ganges when I was able to say goodbye to my daughter. When playing with cement, sand, bricks and water, the hands and feet have become as hard as cement. Thankfully, I haven't had any illness yet. Working in the summer is more like a web than in the winter.
My husband and I build other people's houses but when will our new house be built, we don't have an address . How long will I stay like this as a refugee? Now he is starting to feel the desire to stay in his home. Sometimes I dream of living in a new house, but when will that dream come true?
