For a family, 3 bags of rice (75 kg) per month costs 4,500 rupees . 5 kg of pulses, 4 liters of oil, vegetables, marmalade, etc. will cost 10/12 thousand rupees per month.

One kilo of chicken meat is eaten once a week even if it is Saturday. It costs Rs 1200 per month to buy the same meat. There is no account book for the expenses of clothes, soap, paste etc. . As the husband suffers from high blood pressure, he has to take regular medicine.

After passing class 12, Pooja, the 20-year-old youngest daughter, earns 4,000 per month for teaching at the boarding school in the village, but she does not save money.
